Have an idea of what you are willing to  spend on your dream gown. (you don't want to fall in love with a gown that is more than you would like to spend)

Also, keep in mind the cost of alterations. (almost all gowns will need some type of alteration) 

*Alterations on average are estimated between $180-$800 in additional costs depending on what is needed to make your gown fit perfect.

Having a realistic budget that is flexible will help with having more of a selection to choose from. Our gowns

Keep your shopping entourage small. 

Choose 2-3 close friends or family members to help you with your search.  

*We ask those booking appointments limit their party to no more than 5. That would be the bride plus 4 guest. (No children will be allowed) Photos, face-time, and Zoom are always options for guests that cannot attend the appointment with you in person.

This will help you get a better idea of what YOU like without too many other opinions. 

While most bridal shops are walk-in friendly, booking an appointment in advance ensures a full appointment with your stylist's undivided attention.

*Feel free to book 2 appointments. Come alone for your first appointment to narrow your choices then bring your guests for the final Say Yes to the Dress moment!

While it's good to have an idea of what you like; make sure to keep an open mind.

Let your consultant pull gowns for you not your guests. This will cut down on chaos and confusion during your appointment.

Your stylist is an expert, and will have an idea of what types of gowns will look amazing on your body type. 

Make sure  to wear the proper undergarments to your appointment to maximize the look of the gown.

This also applies to shopping early. Most shops will recommend shopping at-least 8 months in advance.

Don't be afraid to say YES!

Continuing to shop after finding your dress can be overwhelming, and can make it harder to decide. You don't want to become dress drunk.  This can lead to buyers remorse and more expense in the end due to buying a second dress.
